Description
Stay at a centuries´ old masia amidst the green
Immerse in nature: sixty hectares of land to walk or sit in privacy. Wandering from the house
through the forest you can access a network of local trails and walk to rivers, ruins, small
villages, chapels, volcanoes and viewpoints showing the Mediterranean sea on one side and
the snow capped Pyrenees on the other.
Our place is attractive for relaxation, meditation, for painting or writing, for reconnecting to
nature, yourself and your loved one(s). The house is rustic with a cosy and modest interior;
focus is on the surrounding nature. Shared spaces include the principal living with a small split
level library area and the former hay shed which is available 24/7 for practice such as
meditation, yoga or qi gong. Hot water is largely warmed by the sun, the house is heated
with residual wood from the forest via a central heating system which in season we usually
light in the afternoon until the end of the evening. Waste water is used for irrigation. We have
our own water sources. We are mindful with use of electricity. Our place is vegetarian.
Close to the house or a bit hidden there are various places to enjoy and relax: for example on
the old stone terraces, in a hammock under trees or a bit further away on sunbeds by the
water garden.
Our place offers:
• One spacious self-contained and separate part of the house that sleeps up to four people
in two rooms (one double bed and two single beds) with its own living, wood burning stove
and option to cook. Own entrance and facilities.
• In the main house: one space with its own entrance and bathroom that sleeps up to four
people in two rooms (option for two double beds, one double bed and two single beds or
four single beds). In low season also the option to book one room.
• In the main house: one double room with en suite bathroom (option for one double bed or
two single beds), entrance via the main living/library area.
We take bookings with a minimum of 2 nights, cancellation fee applicable. Arrival from
1600hrs, departure before 1100hrs. Prices include IVA, tourist tax, coffee/tea facility and
simple vegetarian and largely ecological breakfast-of the-day. In consultation you can join us
for our home-cooked warm lunch, vegetarian and largely ecological (fee applicable).
Pick-up at a local bus stop can be arranged upon prior agreement. Access from the main road
is via a 1,5 km long moderately rough forest track, okay to drive with normal cars, unless very
low. The main living and library area have wifi, and there is mobile phone coverage in and
around the house.
We have animals (dog, cats, chickens), which are not allowed in the guest rooms. Because of
the layout of the place with inside and outside steps, stairs, uneven floors, and some low
beams the house is not suitable for babies/toddlers nor for the visually impaired or people
who have difficulties with walking.
